Getting married on Lake Como
Lake Como is in Lombardy, but for me it is not an occasional trip: I travel there regularly from Veneto. Many villas are reached by boat or have narrow access and fixed times for suppliers and musicians: I agree arrival, unloading and set-up with the venue, so everything is ready before the guests arrive.
Many couples who marry on the lake come from abroad. The repertoire combines international pop, jazz standards and Italian classics, and for a particularly elegant dinner there is also the duo with pianist Elvis Claro.
